LAST UPDATE
8/19/2007. see below for Republican Ideals
If you are coming here to my PERSONAL website,
rolandrhoades.com, from my FullerBrushDWT.com business website, Welcome. 10/06 update, after 11 months I got my first complaint about mixing business and
politics, but I will be keeping my involvement in
the American system of government on my personal webpage BECAUSE I have gained countless new customers
and distributors, bringing us over the Million $ mark in total sales, who have
specifically said thank you for standing up for what has made America so great
that people want to come here in the first place. - R.
"THOSE DAMN LIBERALS"
Thanks for
Jacquie F and Cyndy P of Maine for this one. - Roland Rhoades
Ray gets up at 6 a.m. and fills
his coffeepot with water to prepare his morning coffee. The water is clean
because some tree-hugging liberal fought for minimum water-quality standards.
With his first swallow of water,
he takes his daily medication. His medications are safe to take because some
stupid commie liberal fought to ensure their safety and that they work as
advertised. All but $10 of his medications are paid for by his employer's
medical plan because some liberal union workers fought their employers for paid
medical insurance - now Ray gets it too.
He prepares his morning
breakfast, bacon and eggs this day. Ray's bacon is safe to eat because some
girly-man liberal fought for laws to regulate the meat packing industry.
In the morning shower, Ray
reaches for his shampoo. His bottle is properly labeled with each ingredient and
its amount in the total contents because some crybaby liberal fought for his
right to know what he was putting on his body and how much it contained.
Ray dresses, walks outside and
takes a deep breath. The air he breathes is clean because some environmentalist
wacko liberal fought for the laws to stop industries from polluting our air. He
walks to the subway station for his government-subsidized ride to work. It saves
him considerable money in parking and transportation fees because some
fancy-pants liberal fought for affordable public transportation, which gives
everyone the opportunity to be a contributor and a recipient.
Ray begins his work day. He has
a good job with decent pay, medical benefits, paid holidays and vacation,
because some lazy liberal union members fought and died for these working
standards. Ray's employer pays these standards so that his employees
won't call the union. If Ray is hurt on the job or becomes
unemployed, he'll get a worker compensation or unemployment check because some
stupid liberal didn't think he should lose his home because of his temporary
misfortune.
It's noontime and Ray needs to
make a bank deposit so he can pay some bills. Ray's deposit is federally insured
by the FDIC because some godless liberal wanted to protect Ray's money from
unscrupulous greedy bankers who ruined the banking system before the Great Depression.
Ray has to pay his Fannie Mae-underwritten mortgage and his below-market federal
student loan because some elitist liberal decided that Ray and the government
would be better off if he was educated and earned more money over his lifetime.
Ray is home from work. He plans
to visit his father this evening at his farm home in the country. He gets in his
car for the drive. His car is among the safest in the world because some
America-hating liberal fought for car safety standards. He arrives at his
boyhood home. His was the third generation to live in the house financed by
Farmers' Home Administration because bankers didn't want to make rural loans.
The house didn't have electricity until some big-government liberal stuck his
nose where it didn't belong and demanded rural electrification.
He is happy to see his father,
who is now retired. His father lives on Social Security and a union pension
because some wine-drinking, cheese-eating liberal made sure he could take care
of himself so Ray wouldn't have to support himself and his father, too.
Ray gets back in his car for the
ride home, and turns on a radio talk show. The radio host says that liberals are
bad and conservatives are good. He doesn't mention that conservatives have
fought against each and every protection and benefit Ray enjoys throughout his
day.
Ray agrees: "We don't need those
big-government liberals ruining our lives! After all, I'm a self-made man.
Everyone should take care of themselves, just like I always have!"

Self-explanatory. >>
And another disaster:
The GEORGE W. BUSH
PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY DESTROYED BY FLOOD.
Crawford, Texas.
(AP)
A tragic flood this
morning destroyed the personal library of President
George W. Bush. The flood began in the presidential bathroom
where
the
books were kept. Both books have been lost. A presidential
Spokesman said the president was devastated, as he had almost
finished
coloring the second one. The White House tried to call
FEMA, but there was
no answer.
Liberals are
the ones who want BIG GOVERNMENT to stay OUT of our lives and stop making laws
governing our personal life decisions. Live and let live.
If you think
that people, like that young Republican Congresswoman, who have never been in the Armed Services, shouldn't call retired
Marines cowards just because they speak out about what's really going on, or talk about something they know absolutely nothing about, see
the Soldiers & Veterans' website.
I exercise my
American right to stay informed of the news behind the news.
Email me
if you'd like links to find the news behind the news. You can start at

to disagree, I hope you'll now continue to my Fuller Brush website - links to

Things you have to believe to
be a Republican today:
{Thanks to
Patrick of NH for forwarding this one.}
Jesus loves you, and shares
your hatred of homosexuals and Hillary Clinton.
Saddam was a good guy when
Reagan armed him, a bad guy when Bush's daddy made war on him, a good guy
when Cheney did business with him, and a bad guy when Bush needed a "we
can't find Bin Laden" diversion.
Trade with Cuba is wrong
because the country is Communist, but trade with China and Vietnam is vital
to a spirit of international harmony.
The United States should get
out of the United Nations, and our highest national priority is enforcing
U.N. resolutions against Iraq.
A woman can't be trusted with
decisions about her own body, but multi-national corporations can make
decisions affecting all mankind without regulation.
The best way to improve
military morale is to praise the troops in speeches, while slashing
veterans' benefits and combat pay.
If condoms are kept out of
schools, adolescents won't have sex.
A good way to fight terrorism
is to belittle our long-time allies, then demand their cooperation and
money.
Providing health care to all
Iraqis is sound policy, but providing health care to all Americans is
socialism.
HMOs and insurance companies
have the best interests of the public at heart.
Global warming and tobacco's
link to cancer are junk science, but creationism should be taught in
schools.
A president lying about an
extramarital affair is an impeachable offense, but a president lying to
enlist support for a war in which thousands die is solid defense policy.
(And causing record numbers of divorces, destroyed families, and suicides
among soldiers).
Government should limit
itself to the powers named in the Constitution, which include banning gay
marriages and censoring the Internet.
The public has a right to
know about Hillary's cattle trades, but George Bush's driving record is none
of our business.
Being a drug addict is a
moral failing and a crime, unless you're a conservative radio host. Then
it's an illness and you need our prayers for your recovery.
What Bill Clinton did in the
1960s is of vital national interest, but what Bush did in the '80s is
irrelevant.
Pass this on. If you don't
send it to 10 other people, we're going to be stuck with more Republicans in
2008.
FRIENDS
DON’T LET FRIENDS VOTE REPUBLICAN.
So…….. WHO is or isn’t really
standing up for the American Constitution? Get educated about what is really
going on and think for yourself, Please!
Subject: Important
Please read:
President
Bush started an
ill-timed and disastrous war under false pretenses by lying to the American
people and to the Congress. He has run a budget surplus into a severe deficit;
he has consistently and unconscionably favored the wealthy and corporations over
the rights and needs of the general population. He has destroyed trust and
confidence in, and good will toward, the United States around the globe; he has
ignored global warming; he has wantonly broken our treaty obligations; he has
condoned the torture of prisoners; he has attempted to create a theocracy in the
United States; he has appointed incompetent cronies to positions of vital
national importance.......
Guess none of that is as important as the crime of inappropriate relationships
in the White House. Would someone please
give him a "Monica" so we can impeach him?
This paragraph was
on my Prius webpage from
2005, taking a stand as a Liberal, but I decided to move it here. It's old and
could be deleted, but I got lots of attaboys for taking a stand on this. Thanks.
I
am really concerned with what looks in the press, like atheists dressing up as
fundamentalist christians and trying to take over both Christianity and the
government and just playing politics with religion. In the first place, the government had no place in the Terri Schiavo
case. In the second, if these faithless christians really were Christians, they
would believe what Christians profess to believe. From reading both sides of the
issue and the fact that she was pretty much dead 15 years ago from bulimia, I
believe that Jesus called her "home" 15 years ago, and all these protestors
should have been protesting to "Let Terri Go Home to Jesus!" Sounds to me
like the stories of the Anti-Christ working behind the scenes duping the faithful.
Please read the
warning letter from
www.FaithfulAmerica.org about "The Family Research Council"
masquerading as christians and trying to abolish our Constitution and making our
judges a rubber stamp for extremists, instead of an impartial party protecting
the people from governmental abuses of power, and urge your
Senators not to believe that they really represent Christians. As a social
activist, I just can't control myself on some issues that threaten what made
America great in the first place - Freedom of choice. Some of my ancestors came
over on The Mayflower to get away from government telling them how to practice
religion. Our Founding Fathers purposely did NOT set this country up as a
Christian country, because everyone has their own views of what that means.
The Shepherd -in-Chief?
The 23rd Qualm
Bush is my
shepherd; I dwell in want.
He maketh logs
to be cut in national forests.
He leadeth
trucks into the still wilderness.
He restoreth my
fears.
He leadeth me
in the paths of international disgrace for his ego's sake.
Yea, though I
walk through the valley of pollution and war,
I will find no
exit, for thou art in office.
Thy tax cuts
for the rich and thy media control, they discomfort me.
Thou preparest
an agenda of deception in the presence of thy religion.
Thou anointest
my head with foreign oil.
My health
insurance runneth out.
Surely
megalomania and false patriotism shall follow me all the days of thy term,
And my jobless
child shall dwell in my basement forever.
