1765 So Harpswell - 22 May 1842 Sangerville [1824 was mis-engraved on
stone. Piscataquis Observer newspaper
has: Morgridge, Charles, age 77 yr., died on Sunday morning last.
Published Friday, May 27, 1842, making the death date Sunday, May 22,
1842. An engraver error that was never noticed or corrected.] |

Stones installed in 1880 evidently:
Joseph Morgridge of Parkman wrote his
will 3 March 1879, mentions 2nd wife Morning, grandaughter Lucilla
Bates, leaves money to the Freewill Baptist Church, and to procure
gravestones for himself and wife, his father and mother in Sangerville,
and son Otis. |
Both stones. These are my 5th-great grandparents.
